Brand agency TeamOne partnered with a creative visual effects and media applications studio, Digital Domain, to bring you this AR happiness-making mobile app.
The Harris Poll has been conducting “happiness surveys” for the past 9 years. In 2017, only 33% of Americans surveyed were happy. Even if it takes just a couple of minutes out of your day, let’s work on spreading happiness among our friends, family and co-workers.
With Happy Things, a personalized message can be all you need to start. The idea is to bring your everyday objects to life and send greetings to your friends and loved ones with AR.
You begin right away by a quick intro to get started. You can then select an object you’d like to animate in AR. Then, you focus on the object and tap it for a happy face to appear. You can then move and scale it to fit, while also being able to choose from a variety of different happy faces.
Additionally, with access to your iPhone’s microphone, your newly animated object’s happy face will sync up with your voice. So, express some love and record a message. You will then be able to review the recorded video and save it to your camera roll, allowing you to share your holiday cheer with anyone.
To start your collection of holiday joy, just download the iOS app from the App Store for free. Exclusively for iPhone and iPad, it is currently available on devices running iOS 11.0 or later.
Oh, and if you decide to spread joy to an even bigger circle of friends and share your videos on Instagram, don’t forget to use the hashtag #happythingsapp.
