AmazeVR, an innovative VR-based entertainment platform, has turned its vision for VR concerts into reality. Partnering with multi-awarded American rapper Megan Thee Stallion, it brings to us a first-of-its-kind virtual reality concert tour in the United States.
AmazeVR and Megan Thee Stallion have teamed up to usher fans into a fantastical new world of music concerts. Aside from seeing their “Hot Girl Meg” performing in hot custom wardrobes, “her Hotties” can also experience an unrealistically real virtual environment that brings them closer to their favorite artist.
According to Megan Thee Stallion, her first foray into VR concerts will enable Hotties to watch a completely different and unique performance. The three-time Grammy winner is also glad to make history with this experience.
Likewise, AmazeVR is thrilled to be working with Megan in launching their first-ever virtual reality concert tour. Ernest Lee, AmazeVR co-CEO, believes that Megan has an incredible stage presence. He also believes she can create iconic moments that will make the most of the VR technology the company is developing. “If anyone could push the notion of how captivating a VR concert can be, it’s Megan,” Lee said in a press release shared with ARPost.
The proprietary technology developed by AmazeVR makes this one-of-a-kind immersive experience possible. It combines live-action 3D footage taken using 9K cameras with computer-generated environments using Unreal Engine-based visual effects. Instead of a cartoony avatar, life-like images in high-def CG worlds spring to life as the audience don their headsets.
To enter the Hottieverse, the fans will put on VR headsets referred to as “Hottie Mounted Displays.” While waiting for the virtual reality concert to start, they can hang out in the VR Hottieverse lobby. Girls in the Hood, be ready to scream your hearts out as Megan appears virtually on stage and performs a multi-song set that moves through a series of computer-generated environments.
Hotties better grab their tickets and start planning their trip now. They can experience “Enter Thee Hottieverse” in 10 cities in the United States from April to July 2022.
The virtual reality concert tour starts in Los Angeles on April 5-10 and ends in New York City on June 30-July 3.
Fans in San Francisco (April 21-24), Chicago (May 5-8), Dallas (May 12-15), Houston (May 19-22), Atlanta (May 26-29), Miami (June 2-5), Charlotte (June 16-19), and Washington DC (June 23-26) will also get to enjoy the VR concert in movie theaters near them.
“Enter Thee Hottieverse” is just the start of a new age in the music industry. Raising additional funding of $15M this January, AmazeVR is all set to lead innovative transformations in the industry.
