Circuit Stream is launching an intensive online bootcamp for individuals who want to expand their knowledge and skills in the VR, AR, and 3D development fields. The Unity Developer Bootcamp will run from October 11, 2022, to April 8, 2023.
There is, currently, a growing global need for real-time 3D (RT3D) skills. The demand for such skills has outpaced the overall job market growth by more than 10%. Furthermore, the demand for RT3D skills has grown 50% faster than that for average IT skills.
In countries like Australia and New Zealand, the demand for RT3D skills has grown by more than 450%, while jobs requiring real-time 3D skills in Canada paid 70% above the average market salary.
With more consumers engaging in 3D and AR tech, and with such technologies shaping their purchasing decisions, companies are thus looking for individuals who possess advanced digital skills.
But how do you break into the industry and prepare for the future? Moreover, how can you equip yourself with the right knowledge and skills to build a successful career in the RT3D industry? Hence, the need for the Circuit Stream Unity Developer Bootcamp.
Students who enroll in the bootcamp will earn a certificate of completion through their preferred university. And after completing the bootcamp, students will also be able to take the Associate Programmer Certification and earn the Unity Certified Associate Programmer certification, co-created by Circuit Stream and Unity.
Applications for the bootcamp will remain open until October 4, 2022. Meanwhile, the Open House Launch Event is scheduled for tomorrow, September 8, 2022, at 12 PM PDT. Interested applicants are encouraged to attend the launch and get the chance to receive a tuition launch scholarship worth $2,250.
To be eligible for the scholarship, applicants must attend the full live event. Learn more about the launch event criteria for scholarship eligibility here.
Students will have online sessions on Tuesdays and Thursdays, from 3:30 PM to 6:00 PM PT, and labs on Saturdays.
Following the 24-week course, students will know more about GIT workflows and processes used on professional projects made with Unity. They’ll also gain a better understanding of 3D development, as well as learn coding logic using C#.
Aside from that, students can also expect to learn more about agile development and collaborative workflows using Git and GitHub, quality insurance, Unity APIs, and computer science and software engineering concepts applied to Unity.
Following the completion of the Unity Developer Bootcamp, Circuit Stream’s Career Services team will help students land their first Unity development job.
Aside from gaining the knowledge and skillset needed to advance their career in XR and 3D development industries, students will also benefit from other programs implemented throughout the course, such as:
Students can participate in live, hands-on workshops, as well as guest lectures facilitated and organized by the Circuit Stream team.
Gain access to insights from industry instructors and mentors who have extensive experience in 3D development.
The opportunity to build professional connections through Circuit Stream’s partner network.

Students will have the chance to showcase their output to Circuit Stream’s partner network.
Lastly, students will have access to daily support and one-on-one sessions with the bootcamp instructors.
The bootcamp is intended for individuals who have prior experience in programming and in using Unity. Prior to joining the course, potential students will be asked a set of 20 technical questions that will help assess their current level of expertise and determine whether the program will fit their goals and experience.
