Everything You Need to Know About the 2022 Circuit Stream Unity Developer Bootcamp

Circuit Stream is launching an intensive online bootcamp for individuals who want to expand their knowledge and skills in the VR, AR, and 3D development fields. The Unity Developer Bootcamp will run from October 11, 2022, to April 8, 2023.

Why the Unity Developer Bootcamp Is Being Launched

There is, currently, a growing global need for real-time 3D (RT3D) skills. The demand for such skills has outpaced the overall job market growth by more than 10%. Furthermore, the demand for RT3D skills has grown 50% faster than that for average IT skills.

In countries like Australia and New Zealand, the demand for RT3D skills has grown by more than 450%, while jobs requiring real-time 3D skills in Canada paid 70% above the average market salary.

With more consumers engaging in 3D and AR tech, and with such technologies shaping their purchasing decisions, companies are thus looking for individuals who possess advanced digital skills.

But how do you break into the industry and prepare for the future? Moreover, how can you equip yourself with the right knowledge and skills to build a successful career in the RT3D industry? Hence, the need for the Circuit Stream Unity Developer Bootcamp.

The 2022 Circuit Stream Unity Developer Bootcamp

Students who enroll in the bootcamp will earn a certificate of completion through their preferred university. And after completing the bootcamp, students will also be able to take the Associate Programmer Certification and earn the Unity Certified Associate Programmer certification, co-created by Circuit Stream and Unity.

Circuit Stream will offer the live online bootcamp to five institutions in North America through its university partner network. Applications are currently being accepted at these universities:

Bootcamp Launch Event

Applications for the bootcamp will remain open until October 4, 2022. Meanwhile, the Open House Launch Event is scheduled for tomorrow, September 8, 2022, at 12 PM PDT. Interested applicants are encouraged to attend the launch and get the chance to receive a tuition launch scholarship worth $2,250.

What Students Will Learn in the Circuit Stream Unity Developer Bootcamp

Students will have online sessions on Tuesdays and Thursdays, from 3:30 PM to 6:00 PM PT, and labs on Saturdays.

Following the 24-week course, students will know more about GIT workflows and processes used on professional projects made with Unity. They’ll also gain a better understanding of 3D development, as well as learn coding logic using C#.

Aside from that, students can also expect to learn more about agile development and collaborative workflows using Git and GitHub, quality insurance, Unity APIs, and computer science and software engineering concepts applied to Unity.

Following the completion of the Unity Developer Bootcamp, Circuit Stream’s Career Services team will help students land their first Unity development job.

Lastly, students will have access to daily support and one-on-one sessions with the bootcamp instructors.

How to Join the Circuit Stream Unity Developer Bootcamp

The bootcamp is intended for individuals who have prior experience in programming and in using Unity. Prior to joining the course, potential students will be asked a set of 20 technical questions that will help assess their current level of expertise and determine whether the program will fit their goals and experience.

Interested applicants need to complete a qualifying exam as well as complete an online application. Afterward, they will have an interview with the Circuit Stream admissions team. Finally, if they’re eligible for the bootcamp, Circuit Stream will notify them of acceptance.
